General responsibilities will include actively participating in maintaining the current excellent SHE standards, assisting the Quarry Manager on a daily basis of running the quarry, management of plant maintenance regime, management of stocks (physical & paperwork), deputising for the quarry manager in his absence and assisting with environmental and quality responsibilities.

 We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual, whose duties will include the electrical inspection, repair and maintenance of fixed plant machinery.
Candidates will be required to carry out planned breakdown maintenance and preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment which includes mixing machines, conveyors, overhead cranes, saws and casting machines, disconnecting Motors and accessing the sites main Electrical control panels.
Candidates must have served an electrical apprenticeship with mechanical ability within a manufacturing industry, ideally with some PLC experience, along with working knowledge of the 16th edition IEE Regs.
The right candidate must be of a self-motivated and conscientious individual who is happy to work with minimal supervision, but also have the ability to be a team player.

We require an experienced and flexible person, who is able to use their own initiative and be able to use new techniques and skills, a positive attitude to quality and SHE is also a necessity.

The appointed person will be responsible for organising wagon movement on a daily basis to ensure aggregate is delivered successfully whilst operating the site weighbridge in line with company procedures and assisting in the collation and upkeep of site records and reports. They will ensure wagons are booked in & out of the weighbridge both efficiently and safely and the successful candidate will also carry out administrative duties as required to support quarry operations.

We require somebody with a confident manner who is able to communicate clearly and effectively with all level of staff, haulers and external drivers.

A Productive/ Maintenance person is required to support the current Production team in the day to day running of a Concrete Block plant. Specifically, the successful applicant will be responsible for the day to day organisation, supervision and implementation of planned preventative maintenance schedules, and daily maintenance or repair activities, ensuring that all company safety and environmental procedures are strictly followed. 
You will be expected to become an integrated member of the Production team assisting and learning to operate concrete block machinery along with maintaining Good Housekeeping around the plant. You will also be expected to liaise with office administration staff and external suppliers to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years Electrical/Mechanical experience, in addition to possessing excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Knowledge of all levels of maintenance is essential and a background of PC controlled PPM’s and SAP would be an advantage.
